Stretch Mark Treatments


FRAXEL
At Bellair Laser Center, we call the Fraxel® Laser the magic eraser since you will notice your skin transform. Fraxel® resurfaces the skin texture and complexion by producing thousands of tiny deep microscopic columns in the skin which are referred to as microscopic treatment zones (MTZ). These tiny treatment zones are surrounded by uninjured tissue. In other words, only a fraction of the skin is targeted, therefore, the skin is left intact which allows for quick wound healing.

This treatment results in rapid re-epithelialization, eliminating old epidermal pigmented cells, while penetrating the deeper dermis reducing stretch marks and texturally damaged skin. Each Fraxel® treatment targets 20% to 25% of the skin’s surface. The number of treatments recommended is anywhere between 6 to 8 sessions depending on your skin concern and the severity of the condition. Normally treatments are spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart and optimal results are visible in approximately 2-3 months post-treatment.

CARBOXYTHERAPY
Carboxytherapy is a unique procedure offered at Bellair Laser Center which is an injection of C02 gas below the skin with the use of a 30.5 gauge mesotherapy needle.

Carboxytherapy is used for the treatment of cellulite, fat reduction, hair regrowth or hair loss and stretch marks. Carboxytherapy works as follows; it improves circulation at the injection site by forcing red bloods cells to release oxygen and pick up C02 to be eliminated by the body. This process of oxygenating the area of concern allows for improved healing by nourishing the skin, in turn building and remodelling collagen and elastin in the area which ultimately smooths out stretch marks. This is a natural reponse from the body. The process leaves the skin tighter, renewed and smoother. Combining Fraxel with Carboxytherapy guarantees best results.
