The Titan Laser is a revolutionary system used for skin tightening. The Titan penetrates up to 1800nm. It works on the principle of bulk dermal heating. The laser attracts water in the deep dermis which then stimulates local circulation and collagen growth. This non-surgical procedure is popular amongst both men and women who wish to lift and tighten the skin. Common treatment areas are the face, jowls, the skin on the neck and anterior neck, the abdomen and the inner arms. Areas where the skin is thin and moves with gentle touch respond best to treatment.

SKIN TIGHTENING PROCEDURE

A layer of ultra sound gel is applied to the skin. The laser is applied to the area in sections with multiple passes over the area. You will feel the gradual build-up of heat with every pulse. The Titan delivers heat deep in the dermis while maintaining contact cooling with every pulse. Most clients appreciate the fact that there is zero downtime with this procedure as the skin is left intact. The Titan Topical numbing may or may not be applied to the area depending on the patients comfort level. 1 to 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart are recommended for best results. WHAT DOES SKIN TIGHTENING FEEL LIKE? WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER A SKIN TIGHTENING TREATMENT

With every pulse you will feel a rise in heat. This skin tightening procedure should feel borderline uncomfortable. Mild erythema and swelling is normal. This will subside shortly after the treatment. Skin tightening with the Titan is a non-invasive treatment and attracts only the water in the deeper dermis.  There is no real aftercare or concerns post treatment, unlike other laser skin treatments which are effected by sun exposure. Skin tightening with the Titan may be performed all year round.

Those with facial and neck laxity and jowling are excellent candidates for laser skin tightening. Best results are seen in patients with thinner skin that is mobile in response to gentle touch. Depending on your skin condition, 2-3 skin tightening treatments are required for best results spaced 4-7 weeks apart.
