Photo rejuvenation is often referred to as intense pulse light. At Bellair Laser Center we use the LimeLight from Cutera which targets sun damage contrasting the skin. This laser targets the pigment, sun spots or age spots, which is then converted into heat. This energy absorbed by the sun spots or facial capillaries causes the body to absorb the targeted pigment or coagulated remains.

Immediately following your photofacial or photo rejuvenation treatment, brown spots/discolourations will start to darken and your skin may appear slightly pink. When you come in for your first photo rejuvenation treatment, we will begin by cleansing the skin.  The face is mapped out or divided in small sections to ensure even coverage.  Goggles are placed over the client’s eyes for safety.  A thin layer of gel is applied to the skin.  The photo rejuvenation hand piece is applied to the skin one pulse at a time.  You will feel a sharp pinch with every photo rejuvenation pulse.

Laser Genesis

The Laser Genesis skin rejuvenation treatment is considered the most important breakthrough since IPL systems (Intensed Pulsed Light). Only the Genesis laser skin treatment combines preferential heating of the microvasculature and gentle heating of the dermis to improve skin texture, shrink pore size, reduce diffused redness, decrease wrinkles and for overall skin rejuvenation.

Laser Genesis skin rejuvenation uses a 1064nm laser to gently rejuvenate the skin which means it may be used for All Skin Types, as well as Tanned Skin without any pigment complications.
